From Humble beginnings to top of the line bags.
I started playing cornhole in the summer of 2019. I didn’t know much about the bag market or much about the game. All I knew were the bags that were available at local sporting good stores. After using those for awhile I decide to see if I could make my own. I had watched my mother sew bean bags and juggling bags together, in my youth. How hard could it be, right? Oh my was I in for an awakening. I started out with your basic canvas and thicker fabrics as my bag materials. My fill was wheat instead of corn. It is much smaller and not as bulky in the bag. The only problem was you couldn’t get them wet, or they would swell up and become unusable. At least until they dried back out.
As I played more and looked at other players bags I decided to do more research on materials used for bags. Visiting many fabric stores and endless searches online, I finally found what I was looking for. With some adjustments with fill and fabrics I have wound up here. I feel this is only the beginning. They are so many options out there I want to try out.
I want to thank my friend and partner Bruce Davis for having faith in me with the bag making. He started me down this road and got me hooked. He is the BD in our brand. They call me the Bag Doctor so we can go either way with it. Makes the best custom tournament quality style boards in the business and they are in high demand.
